I have a 2021 Ram truck, I have been using one of those suction charging holders. It worked but I live in a place that gets intense heat in the summers. It would fall if constantly and I couldn’t put up my sun visor on my dash with it installed. I saw this on Facebook and was intrigued instantly! I bought it and it installed perfectly in my truck, and I can keep it up while using my sun visor. Only complaint I have is the mag lock mount does run very hot when charging so I have to point the nearby AC vent towards it to cool the charger mount

Purchased for my 23 RAM 1500. I hated that there was no practical place to sit my phone and I never use the dash storage, so this was a perfect fit. Once installed, it's rock solid. I opted for the mag charger head. The 12v charge port built into this storage area is directly battery-powered by default, but you can move the fuse from slot F54A (battery-fed) to F54B (ignition-fed). This will prevent battery drain if you leave your charger connected. The default arm length is sufficient to extend beyond the vent. I did not realize it came with the 12V USB-C plug, which was nice.

I wish the instructions on installation had been slightly clearer. Some of it is not as clear-cut as I anticipated, and there is definitely a more beneficial order of assembly compared to other methods. I had one screw in the plate that was nearly impossible to get started due to alignment.

These guys make some amazing products. In our 2024 Ram 2500 tradesman 4x4 four-door crew cab. We went with the mounting bracket that goes up on the dash. Two wireless Meg safe chargers. Also the radar detector magnetic mount. What an amazing setup. I wired everything in so it all plugs in back behind the dash. Makes for a really clean install. Their products are extremely solid. No cheap plastic parts or anything like that. Everything is made of steel or Bill aluminum. Heavy duty bolts included. Everything fit perfect the first time without having to modify anything. It was all literally plug and play. Made specifically for the dashboard. I couldn't be happier with the products. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.

I needed a better solution to mount my trailer backup camera monitor and couldn’t be happier with the Tackform mount. The mount fits perfectly in my 2019 RAM 1500. Awesome customer support as well in answering my questions.

First of all, the product looks very good quality and the installation part is very easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something they can hook up their phones, tablets, and handheld radio.

I have tried several mounts in the past, including ProClip USA, and this one from Tackform is by far the best. I love how solid it is, the phone doesn't budge. It also keeps it from blocking one of the vents like the ProClip did. Now the phone sits at eye level and it's perfect. I chose not to use the included power adapter for the cigarette lighter outlet. Instead I purchased a 6' black USB-C cable on Amazon and routed the cable behind the stock head unit and down into the center console where there are a couple of USB-C charging ports. Very clean and 95% of the cable is hidden. Also, the Tackform powered MagSafe charging mount is great. Very strong magnet and charges the iPhone 17 Pro quickly. I have zero bad things to say about this mount and the entire experience. These aren't cheap (not crazy expensive either) but once you open the package you will quickly realize that the quality is well worth the price.

The build quality is too notch and the functionality of the mount, stability, and look is exactly what I was out to achieve. Highly recommend! Installed on 2026 Ram Rebel 2500!

I have to admit that when I purchased my new Ram 1500, my first thought when it came to a rugged phone mount was Bulletpoint. However, my car salesman,Mateo, at Naperville Chevrolet told me about a local company with great phone holders and other mounting solutions from Tackform. I looked up the website and read the reviews. I figured heck, what do I have to lose. I love supporting American made and local companies. Well, the Traxx mounting system with the MagSafe charging base shipped quickly and before I knew it a package arrived. Installation was easy with the provided link for an instruction video. This is an amazing design with unlimited options for all of my needs. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know!

I never thought it to be wise to drill holes, glue or otherwise permanently modify my vehicle(s) to support my cellphone. I bought hundreds of dollars of clips, suction cups and vent outlet mounts. Nothing worked to my satisfaction. That is until I bought this Tackform system. I simply followed the instructions for my Ram 2500 Limited Longhorn. It not only looks great but it is rock solid. I believe it is worth every penny. The best part is if I ever needed to sell my truck I can restore the original setup and keep my mount system for my next truck. Now if Tackform can figure out how to make a system for my Jaguar I would be elated.

Quality design and workmanship. Assembled easily. The only minor issue was re using the factory screws that were removed is that the circumference of the screw head was too large to fit through the 2 pedestal legs. Otherwise a very stable platform.

Fit my 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie (new body style) without issue.

Great for mounting my amateur radio remote head units. Only slightly nit-picky thing is I wish it was a hair deeper so it completely filled the space from front to back. The bottom brackets could then brace on both sides instead of the "far" side. Also, less likely to lose anything underneath. :) It's VERY stable though as supplied. With everything tightened down, there is no wiggle.

Only other very, very minor "ding" if you will, is there is some play in the AMP ball as the ribs around the ball allow for a little movement in the direction they are wrapped. I hope that makes sense. :) Again, VERY minor and I don't think takes away from functionality.

Note, it does NOT block use of the 12v power outlet.

Overall, VERY, VERY happy with Tackform. Super quick delivery. Well packaged and zero issues.

I bought the TRAXX™ - Slim Track Dash Bracket With Tablet Mount | 2019 - 2025 RAM 1500 (8” or 12” Display ONLY) & 2019 - 2024 RAM 2500/3500, along with the
Extension/Dropdown Kit - Long Reach.
I installed them in my 2021 Ram 3500 Dually, (which was easy-peesy) for my Samsung S10 Tab Ultra (which is big & heavy), thinking "this will work great". When I had it installed with my Tab Ultra the only thing is the Extension/Dropdown Kit - Long Reach wasn't long enough for me. The tablet holder grabbed the very top of the Tab,(I wanted it to grab more in the middle) making it bottom heavy. So I did some measuring and ended up getting a 6" and 9"
DuraLock™ 20 Series | Aluminum Tube Arm | Dual 20mm Anti-Theft Sockets arms, which works great for my liking (grabs the Tab right under the side buttons). Took a spin around some ruff roads to see how the heavy tablet and mount would hold up, which did a fine job.
The only thing I had a problem with is the washers that hold down the dash holder. What I did was get 2 wider and thicker washers for the mounting screws because I had a problem with them sliding out of the holder while I tried to tighten it down.
I am very satisfied with Tackform products and the support team and would and will be buying more products from them, I need something for my grab handle.
