Excellent product. Excellent customer service. Amazing transaction. Recommend this product for anyone.
Would do business again.
Haven't had the opportunity to put it to use, as of yet. I gave a 3 star, because I like the look, and the promise of accessibility it's design implies.
Great quality. Holds my gmrs mic nice and tight. Fits my needs perfectly. Highly recommended
I needed a good way to have access tiki a handheld radio i ended up with an excellent product. I used Tacforms grab handle mount with an adjustable arm to get it in the perfect spot. 2021 Bronco Black Diamond Sasquatch
I love the idea of this item, but I think it might be too much of a compromise "one size fits all" device. It can both have a handi-talkie clip into it OR have a speaker mic clip into the front of it. But the sizing of that makes it actually quite hard to clip in the speaker mic in a typical offroad driving situation. The overall width of the button hanger slot is about the widest on the market (one size fits all) which may be great for some people and a bit sloppy fitting for others - in my case its sloppy. The little tension bit in the middle of the button hanger slot is also quite tight (perhaps only when knew and it later loosens up?). Lastly there isn't much of V shape, taper or channel to guide your speaker mic button into the clip if you are for example replacing the mic one handed while driving (trying to look more at the road/trail and not look at the speaker mic). I've ordered a replacement speaker-mic button which is made by a CB radio company as may be the larger diameter version. I will retrofit my amateur radio mic with this larger hanging button and see if that improves it. Otherwise I might just look into the magnetic mic mount option instead and use this device only for holding handheld radios via the clip (which is still very useful! I will always carry a handheld in my vehicle in addition to a hardwired radio).
P.S. I'm Canadian, the midland GMRS radios are not legal in Canada. Most off-road drivers here use VHF amateur radio aka "ham radio". Perhaps this item works much better for US customers with GMRS depending on the button size on those radio mics.
