AMPS Drill Base Tablet Mount for Vehicle

UNLIMITED POSITIONING - All metal AMPS adapter for drill base with rubber coated 1"/25mm/B-Sized ball for a sturdy connection. Dual 3.75" ABS grade plastic arms allow you to adjust the arm to the perfect viewing angle. Thumbscrews allow for easy and quick re-positioning.

VERSATILE CRADLE - Tablet cradle comes with a variety of support legs which allow it to accommodate all popular tablets on the market today, from manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, Amazon,  LG and Google. Secure AMPS connection using 4 included screws, which is far superior to many of the plastic tab mounting options out there.

COUNTLESS APPLICATIONS - Can be mounted to most sturdy surfaces provided you use the correct hardware. Visit your local hardware store for suggestions on what type of fasteners to use. Great for vehicles, workbenches, tables, countertops, desks or anywhere else you need a tablet permanently mounted.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a product you purchased directly from Tackform.com within 30 days of purchase, we'll refund the full amount of the purchase price, less shipping, given that the following conditions are met:

  • Refund must be requested within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Items must have been purchased directly from Tackform.com. For Amazon returns please contact us through the Amazon platform or shoot us an email at support@tackform.com with your Amazon order number.
  • All package contents must be complete.
  • All product must arrive back to us in like-new condition. If the products are damaged or show physical signs of wear you will not be refunded for those parts and they can be sent back to you at your expense. 
  • Wholesale and fleet orders may be required to pay return shipping based on agreed terms.

Shipping charges are not refundable.

When sending your items back, please get a receipt as proof that you dropped the item off with a shipping carrier. Please retain that receipt until you receive your refund.

Order Processing: Orders are packed and shipped Monday through Friday only.

FedEx Express Orders: Orders placed before 2 PM Central time ship the same business day. Please note that FedEx 2-Day shipping does not include Saturday or Sunday as shipping/delivery days.

USPS Orders: USPS orders ship the same or next business day unless otherwise noted at the top of the product description page.

Weekend and Holiday Orders: Orders placed on weekends and select holidays will be processed on the following business day.

Payment Issues: If we are unable to process your order due to inaccurate or incomplete payment information, order processing may be delayed by an additional 2 business days.

Bulk and Wholesale Orders: Orders over $250 and wholesale orders may require an additional 1-2 days for processing.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

TACKFORM LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty is limited to Tackform product that were purchased directly from Tackform or a Tackform authorized reseller. This warranty is limited only to Tackform mounts and Tackform components. This does not include any device or devices attached or mounted to a Tackform mount. This includes but is not limited to your phone, GPS, tablet or other devices. This warranty does not cover any part that has been modified or used in any manner other than which it was intended. 

The Tackform warranty does not cover any part or product that has been abused, misused, has been subject to temperatures beyond ordinary weather conditions. If the defective part or product has been discontinued, we will suggest a suitable alternative. If an alternative is not available, the discontinued part is no longer covered under warranty.

Warranty Duration:

  • Metal Parts - Lifetime Warranty
  • Plastic or ABS Parts - 3 Year Warranty
  • Electronics - 1 Year Warranty

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Repair or replacement of this product, as provided herein, is your exclusive remedy. Tackform shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, lost revenues, lost profits, loss of use of software, loss of recovery of data, rental of replacement equipment, downtime, damage to property, and third-party claims, arising out of any theory of recovery, including warranty, contract, statutory or tort. Notwithstanding the term of any limited warranty or any warranty implied by law, or in the event that any limited warranty fails of its essential purpose, in no event will Tackform’s entire liability exceed the purchase price of this product. Some states/provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state and province to province..

There is no upgrade on products, only replacement of defective components.

How To Make A Lifetime Warranty Claim:

  1. Take a Digital Photo - Make sure that the mount and the broken or defective section are clearly visible.*
  2. To the best of your ability please explain how and when the product failed.
  3. Provide proof or purchase – Examples of proofs of purchase include but are not limited to your order number from our website, your Amazon order number, or receipt from retail location.*
  4. Please Provide Shipping Address
  5. Email Above information to support@tackform.com

*Notes:

  • This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear over the lifetime of the product. There are no upgrades; only defective components will be replaced.
  • We will replace the broken component only and not the entire mounting system.
  • We will contact you for the small shipping charge. This number varies based on the weight of the replacement part.
  • Tackform will only warranty products purchased through Tackform Authorized Retailers.

Tablet mount

It secured to the truck mount with very little effort. The elbows secure pretty tightly even if the tablet puts a bit of a strain on it. As long as I used it where the first arm is horizontal and rests on the dash and the second arm is pivoted downward I have not had any issues. Works just like I had hoped.

Super hold.

Bought 2 holders. One for my tablet for my over the road truck and one phone holder for my lawnmower. Yes you read that right, lawnmower. First the truck. Ordered the bolt down base because I’ve already got too many things on my windshield glass. It would have been to much for the tablet to be up there too. Mounted on the side of the dash panel and it holds it great. All the rough roads I travel and the off road stockpiles I go to and it still holds strong. Don’t say it don’t move a little but I can always read it when needed. Second the lawnmower. Mounted it between my legs on a zero turn Kubota. Stayed in place while mowing with my ear buds in. Away from bushes and branches it is just the ticket. Had been using belt clip while mowing but after replacing 2 I phoned that vibrated out of the clip on rough land was enough. So glad I chose Tackform.

Good Solution for Mounting a Tablet Computer

Overall I am pleased with this purchase. I have been researching methods to mount a tablet computer inside of my teardrop camper for a while now. I selected the TFEP-AM2AR12-TAB mount with dual-arms for the positioning flexibility as I wanted to attach the mount to the underside of the camper's cabin wood cabinets.

Initial observation; quality of the hardware appears to be good; manufacturing appears to be good; excellent communications by the seller; quick shipping. I will say that the mount can be a bit cumbersome to position with one tightening thumbscrew for two ball-joints, kind-of-a wet-noodle…but I was able to position for optimal viewing with a little patience. First deployment with this new accessory to my teardrop camper is mid-March 2020, time will tell the durability and reliability story…

I don’t plan on traveling with the tablet computer in the mount. No need for me to challenge the mount during transit and potentially damage the tablet computer, I will only clamp the tablet into the mount when the camper is parked. The mount seems to be sturdy enough; although it does flex with the weight of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet computer installed but not a deal-breaker.

The tablet computer weighs 1lb 11oz. and is 11.5-inch (W) x 8-inch (H). The mount holds the tablet computer securely using two short and two medium clamp-legs. In my application, I drilled through holes and used #10-32 machine screws with nylon insert lock-nuts to attach the mount to the camper's cabin wood cabinets.

I highly recommend this mount…
