I have a roll cage in my jeep 1-3/4 and was looking for the best phone holder. This one was perfect it clamped down tight on my bar and able to adjust the arms where I want it. When I'm offroading I adjust it for video ( moving the phone closer to the windshield) and it's perfectly still for my phone. Adjustable arms are great and keep it tight.

I have purchased countless window and otherwise mounted cell phone holders for the car...countless. As such i have spent way more money than anyone should on phone holders looking for the right combination of build quality, adjustability and sturdiness against vibration. FINALLY, I found THE ONE people. Look no further than TACKFORM. I have owned this mount for a total of 30 mins and couldn't wait to give this review. You know when you know...after mounting it and running through it's possible configurations I shook the heck out of it with phone mounted-(I have it clamped to an approx. 3/4" diameter gooseneck, chair rail mount for my tablet it's not gonna land in my lap at 70mph like the countless others. The phone itself is held in place by strong spring loaded clamping "jaws" and the articulation points (elbows- not the ball joints) are toothed for positive locking in the angle you choose plus the ball joints give you limitless choices for customizing the fit for your application. Then the icing on the cake is the fact that unlike most other brands you can buy the pieces and parts individually as well as a complete mounting system. As for durability....this will be the last cell phone mount for the car I ever buy. It's all aluminum construction is absolute quality and will outlive me!! Just FYI I use a Samsung Note 10+ phone in a slim hard plastic case and it fits with a bit of room to spare width-wise between the spring loaded locking jaws. I was initially concerned that there were no "feet" at bottom of phone to stop it from slipping straight downward but that will never be an issue. As for price...the old adage applies...you get what you pay for. And for just under 100 bucks you get the best on the market. I wish I found Tackform mounts years ago- could've saved a small fortune by now.
Are you kidding me Tackform??? This mount ROCKS!!! The Best- the benchmark of cell phone holders that every other company aspires to be!!! And no I have no connection to or benefit received from Tackform for this review- I run a pilot car and escort oversize loads around the country. Keeping my eyes on the road and the load are paramount-not jerking around with a garbage mount that doesn't do its job.
I know it's a long review but hopefully someone out there benefits from it. Hopefully I was clear and thorough. Sorry I don't have pic with phone mounted- I used phone to take pics.

PS I forgot to mention that the one i ordered was with the larger roll bar size clamp but I also ordered the smaller diameter clamp with 20mm ball item #TF-BS-25

I use my phone in my side by side to play sattelite radio to a Bluetooth speaker, for GPS and for taking pictures and video. The mount is incredibly robust. My phone remains conveniently mounted and positioned perfectly even in rough conditions
